by Emily Watts. This is the Bedford Ward book club selection for February. I finished reading the entire book pretty quickly, but there are 31 exercises to be done. I’ve decided to blog what I’ve done about them.
DAY 1: What Was the First Straw? EXERCISE #1: Take a minute at the beginning of the day to assess what bubbles might be building up in the bottle that is your life. If it looks like the pressure might be high, choose one of the stratetgies from this chapter (or a different one that works for you) and let off some of those bubbles right now before the whole thing blows up in someone’s face.
So, the strategies for today? Make a list (check); Spend five minutes outside (nope too cold); Have something pleasant planned at the end of a long day (check); Rejuvenate my smile file (check)! Pressure reduced!
