“J” is for Jeremiah

From Wikipedia

Not the bullfrog, the prophet.  It’s who we’re supposed to be studying in my seminary class for the next week and a half, but I just counted and realized that we’re a week behind where we need to be so we did an abbreviated version of Jeremiah on Monday and we’re moving on.  Poor Jeremiah must have felt like a parent with children who just will NOT listen when you tell them not to touch the hot stove.  After they’ve burned their finger there’s nothing to be done.   By the way, don’t you just love this painting by Rembrandt?
