the library

So when it’s 90 plus stupid degrees, one is short on funds and time, but bored out of one’s skull, where dost thou betake thyself?  Why to that most noble of establisghments of course, the Library.  When I was growing up I considered this the single best place on the planet and it still holds a deeply special place in my heart (although the beach has usurped the number one position).

Today’s foray unearthed:  For the Love of Libraries:  a Book of Postcards, Library:  an unquiet history; Soulspace:  creating a home that is free of clutter, full of beauty, and inspired by you; and finally a newly published book “Reading the Preraphaelites” which at the end of the day I may need to own.

Bliss!  And don’t even get me started on the genius who invented inter-library loans and online book reservations!!
