Dukan Diet

Okay, so I borrowed the Dukan Diet by Dr. Pierre Dukan from the library and determined it’s not for me.  I’m not going to go all protein for any length of time let alone 5 to 7 days.  Nope.  All veggie for that long maybe… 

Anyway, what I did get out of it was that walking is the best exercise (I knew that) and that the pace should be brisk.  “Imagine you have to get to the post office before going to work and you have no time to lose.  Nothing more.  Nothing less.”  Great visual.   The other exercises he recommends (albeit he puts his own spin on them) are:  Bent knee crunches, butt lifts, and bicep curls, tricep lifts and Bernie’s chair.
